This is "MerMama", a collaged postcard done on corrugated cardboard. The size is 6.75W X 5.25H. I used my scraps of paint-soaked babywipes, an old mermaid torso I painted years ago from a rubber stamp outline, paper flowers and French text. I painted the mermama's tail with iridescent acrylic ink. After applying the copper foil edging, rather than soldering it, I decided to coat the entire surface with UHU Twist 'N' Glue, which dries glossy, and has the added benefit of sealing anything and everything really well.
This will be headed out in the mail tomorrow.....
