...Betty, died last evening from a long battle with lymphoma, which was preceded by a stalwart battle (seemingly won at the time) with breast cancer. Through all our married lives (we were married during the same summer -she in June of 1966, me in September), we were separated by our continent- she living on the East Coast, me mostly on the west coast. But when our respective families got together over the years, we always laughed, loved and enjoyed each other's company so, SO much. She is(was) the wife of the oldest of my three older brothers.
In 2004, I joined in with Tracy Roos' artist group in creating this image for Tracy's "Art 4 the Cure" playing card deck, the proceeds going to breast cancer research.
Betty - you are loved and will be terribly missed by all in your extended family and beyond.
